I can play today at the usual time, 14:00 EST, 19:00 GMT. Once again, the French attacked from opposite directions and stymied a perfect plan. After careful analysis, a multitude of armchair generals concluded the blame for failure rested with one person. His lack of properly handling the artillery division allowed the French enough time to foil our carefully constructed plan.

hope you had a blast - wish I was there, but after a period of lock down, sports and physical fitness have to be top priority!

I can play today at the usual time, 14:00 EST, 19:00 GMT. Tuesday's battle was a close run thing. Attacked by a greatly superior French force while on the march was un unpleasant surprise. Fortunately, the tenacious Russians held and we were even able to launch a counterattack which won us the day.

I can play today at the usual time, 14:00 EST, 19:00 GMT. On Friday, the Prussian army made a heroic effort to capture the French depot at Yakshino. However, we were greatly outnumbered and the French set up a defense in depth that could not be breeched.

Hmmmm. I am most curious as to the phrase "could not be breached" ... Taking an educated guess, perhaps Kevin's original sentence was truncated from "could not be breached in a manner that would not inconvenience our lunchtime picnic plans"

I can play today at the usual time, 14:00 EST, 19:00 GMT. Sunday's battle against the French was a hard-fought battle, but ended, as expected, in a victory for the Third Coalition. Also, as expected, our cavalry, commanded by you know who, was entirely routed from the field.

As the battle progressed more and more Russians appeared. At one point the French were fighting on three sides. Shortly thereafter, the French withdrew with tails between their legs. Reprehensible behavior.
