Good man.
I will try to make it by 8pm but I could be late, depending on the little one.

Desaix?....hmmm
Is it possible he is changing his opinion?
Keep 'sowing the seed' fella, and you never know, we might even have Gunner join our ranks
Whatever, all you have to remember is:
Let them win a game or two first. It nurtures a positive feel about the game. That's what I've been doing with you guys for the last few months

That has been my tactic in wargaming for decades. It really helps your friends self-esteem and makes you feel its all worth it!

Yesterday we played, he has positive feelings for the game but of course being strong nap fans, I feel strong the limits of actual engine, especially the difficult to charge. Anyway I think that eventually i will be free from 21:00-21:30 if it is at home (today is holyday in Italy).

Yesterday match
We tested the mod with some changes I did to the logistics file:
increased range for the charge button of cavalry
attackmarch for brigade column by division
attackmarch for cavalry running
the AI brigade use column by division as marching formation

What was your impression on these changes. Does it improve the battle? And how does the attackmarch work?

Well attackmarch improve the possibility of column attack, I think it worked pretty well, especially if you use a no-fighting unit for do it.
Also cavalry charge better at command increasing the range and giving the attackmarch running, of course there is always the case where strangely she wait immobile or refuse the order, but i think in yesterday battle, it was of great help to my infantry.

I have also, for cavalry, automatically set "all out assault" stance for when press charge and hold to the last when you give retreat.

Does every player need to make those changes or only the host?

I started up a thread to discuss any possible changes we'd like to make, as a group, to the Nap Mod so we can continue that discussion here:
http://forum.kriegsspiel.org.uk/t704-hits-couriers-gcm-rework-of-nap-mod
I think it would help to keep it all in one place.
