If everything goes well I should be able to play on Friday. Got my BT(Bloody Terrible) broadband up and running... it's actually decent and I got doubled upstream to what Virgin Media offered, with slightly lower downstream speeds (about 70Mbps rather than 100) and not sharing with anybody would help, too.
I just need my gaming PC moved (planned for tomorrow) and that should be it.
I watched a bit of your last battle on Ehey's youtube and could hear Phil complaining about his horse as per usual...

Yeah an interesting fight. I had an entire brigade withdraw for 30 mins after taking 3 casualties. What was real interesting was that the brigade commander was closest to Kevin’s formation and the AI auto message said “we simply cannot fight in the vicinity of such incompetence From MTG.” Love it when the AI turns on its master.

I can play today at the usual time, 14:00 EST, 19:00 GMT. Tuesday's fight was a British victory north of Ramilies. I had forgotten that nearly the entire map is swamp, rough terrain, breastworks, etc. The troops were tiring just by marching a few hundred yards. I made a number of changes to it after the battle, so it should be a better map for our fighting. I think Pat brought some troops onto the field. They mostly stayed in the background performing entertaining cheerleading tasks such as human pyramids, synchronized arm waving, etc. Very helpful, as usual.

I missed Friday but will be ready to play today.

My infantry battalions spent most of the weekend practicing amphibious assault techniques using shallow draft boats designed for the swamps that dominated last Tuesdays game. As Ehey came to my flank in support I literally saw formations of sprites crawling upon the ground, soaked and exhausted.

And yes my skirmishers won the European cheerleading championships held at appropriate social distance last week. Not much to cheer about when watching Kevins formations, but we did our duty anyway.

The Russians launched a magnificent attack in the NE, 2 brigades followed by their cavalry. It was a parade ground maneuver. Fortunately we were able to repel it.
