Impromptu Games

I logged into TS last night at random to see if anyone was online and found a game in progress. Could games be announced here please so players can jump online at the arranged time? Thanks all.

Last night's game was an anomaly. I think it was the first Sunday game I have played in a coon's age! I had discussed with MTG about getting together for a Sunday game after the Saturday game. Nothing firm was set other than possibly meeting in the afternoon around 2:30 my time. I then logged on T/S, as I always do every morning, posted a nickname change: WSH Baylor: Back at 1430 CDT. When I checked back at 1430, there were two waiting with a third expected shortly. By the time the fourth party arrived, we had a game underway circa 1530. We did hear you come in, but the game had progressed beyond a reasonable re-start,

I would suggest that anytime a "get-up" is wanted, join the Kriegspiel TeamSpeak and see who may be on. If someone is waiting and has posted a nickname change, poke them with a note that you will be back to play. T/S also records all who come into the channel and the time. Another couple of ways to look for a game.

I think it was suggested that a few of might be free just after you left teamspeak on Saturday night.

It didn't seem like a definite but you are right, we should have dropped a line here to open it to other players. Sorry.

As it happened, Kevin was in TS from 8.15pm. I dropped in at that time to say I would be 30mins. We didn't even get going till as we had a few game start probs 9.15pm.

I make that 30 minutes to 1 in the morning for me so sadly too late at night.

I'm curious what is the earliest convenient time that you guys (Jack, Kevin) can play in the week. It's just possible I could make a late start and have a game with you. Please let me know.

Kevin and I usually play 2 to 4 times per week, mostly on M, T, Th and, sometimes, on Friday. We usually meet on TeamSpeak at 6:30 CDT/5:30 MDT. Since I am 6 hours behind most you, that would be at 12:30 AM your time. Michael from Germany played with us the other night. Think it was around 4:00 in the morning, his time, when we finished.

We also get together, occasionally, on Sundays. Yesterday we started at 2:00 CDT which is 8:00 pm your time.

Since I am retired, I can usually make any time that is convenient for you folks. Just need to send me an email and/or check T/S as I usually am on, albeit briefly, most mornings and early afternoons.

Kevin is still gainfully employed - poor fellow - and unavailable during the weekdays.

Any questions, just ask.

I may check out TS after the Costa Rica and Greece game. Yesterdays game was just plain FRICKEN AWESOME!!

You colonials might be out today whooping and partying but in case anyone isn't, or any Europeans would like a game, I'll be in TS from 20:00 UK time (GMT+1)

Although this is a day of great celebration for having shown our colonial oppressors the door, I'll be available for a game.

There is also Pom's new Fontenoy (1745) Mod which looks amazing.

I may be able to make a time of 20:00 BST/15:00 CDT, if I am able to get all the Nappy mods installed properly and the program settings correctly done.  I have a bit of other business to attend to before then, so I'll get to it.
