Re: Impromptu Games
Make up a Reisswitz scenario Martin. If we are lucky we might get WL to give us a bad frame error early, then we can play your scenario.

Re: Impromptu Games
great idea- if that happened however I'd have to ask for a link to the latest Reisswitz version - I never played GB since the PC got setup once more....

Re: Impromptu Games
Will try and do something but time is short now so cannot promise .
Just in case the force is with me, I suggest everyone downloads the latest version of the Reisswitz Mod, as I have made a few improvements recently https://www.dropbox.com/s/9kps9s2p313krb6/KS%20Reisswitz%20v1_7.zip?dl=0
You will also need to put the latest version of KS SOW Supplemental Maps 1.09 in your GB Mods folder. You can get that from the Napoleonic set-up page here https://kriegsspiel.forumotion.net/t1451-set-up-for-sowwl-napoleon-games-for-kriegspiel-style

Here is the scenario everyone has waited for. No mods should be used. Also, everyone should add this line to their sowwl.ini file. In the [debug] section, add mplog=1

Re: Impromptu Games
I'm all for playing Pepe's scenario, especially since I haven't made anything for today. If SJ can play, should we just use the 1.12x mod and see if his changes to the graphics card software has an effect, or should we disable the dll and just play with the KS sprites?

Re: Impromptu Games
Let's go with 1.12XXX as we have been for a while now. This will then be a test of Steve's changes.
Pepe can you host again?
I have another idea today - how about we play a P v P game soon? This might reduce the courier swarms we see the AI send out. We'd need 6 players minimum I think.
I am away this weekend at the Coudekerque military festival again so after tonight I won't be back until Monday, but can play then.

That would be cool. We can try next SUnday as it seems the day more people are showing up.
Are we playing tomorrow wednesday?

Re: Impromptu Games
Regrettably I cannot play tomorrow, but don't let that stop the rest of you.
I can play on Thursday, if there's enough interest.

Re: Impromptu Games
I put together a small scenario using the stock sprites. I want to try using the KS version 1.12x with a new dll file. I can pass it out prior to the game. If we can get 3-4 people, we can try running it on Wednesday. If not, we can play on Friday.

Re: Impromptu Games
I can play Wednesday. What changes have you made Kevin?
Also - where are we at with the mod? The version we have now - is it the same as the final one but without some of the splash screens and the advance/retire buttons? Or is there more missing?
We could probably put the splash screens back I think - shall we try?

Re: Impromptu Games
I've put together a small scenario to test an idea I have as to what may be causing the instability of MP games. We can try running it today at the usual time of 20:00BST, 15:00EST. If we don't have enough players, we can try again on Thursday. It will require everyone have a new version of the mod. It is version 1.12 plus a new dll file. Here is the link: KS Nappy Mod 1.13
