Don't think I can play today after all. I have tried 8 to 10 times to d/l the exe from BlueSnap and I get a failed d/l every time.

Got the base game running but after patching it to v143 I get:

d3dx9_43.dll is missing.

Is this the dx9 error you had Mike?

Fixed that. Now getting CTDs in sandbox mode. Grr.

Does the steam version of the game require special treatment? Been trying to follow the steps in the KS Mod thread, couldn't install the patch (game not installed), went right to place the mods and alter the .exe. Anything I'm missing?

Steam automatically updates you version to the latest patch. All you need to do it install the mods.
