After a year or so of modern warfare and zombie hunting.  I am ready to get back to this game.  What are your game days?

Hi guys,ive going to join you for long time. I played mostly pararox grand strategy games,boardgames and total wars but also have sow with your mod. I think its super immersive and has a scale that any other napoleonic "wargame". But i have still lot of struggle with engine of this game and mostly i have no experience with multiplayer games. I like to join battle with you as a brigade general and i will try to carry out your orders.

We play Sunday, Tuesday, and Friday at 2:00 PM EST. We meet a few minutes early in the discord to look at some maps and stuff.

Baron501 you're most welcome to join us as a brigade commander. The controls can be quite tricky to figure out. There is a short user manual pdf in the mod folder that has some helpful explanations. Otherwise for practice what I did was load up a sandbox scenario and just marched my guys around until I understood what each button did.

Thank, i will be happy to join. Ive played few games in single and watch darkrob videos so i think i can keep my unit together but you play HITS right? And i try HITS only 2 times and i was destroyed.I have little probles to navigate my division only with command map.

We do play HITS. With a division I'll usually only use the command map for the first movement to get everyone going somewhere along a road. After that when I run into an enemy I'll usually switch to almost exclusively clicking on the ground to move my units, either by brigade formation or by battalion in some cases. As a brigade commander hopefully you'll find HITS to be a little more forgiving. It definitely adds a difficulty though.

I can play today at the usual time, 14:00 EST, 19:00 GMT. We Austrians were unstoppable Tuesday. The French fought gamely but were driven out of their positions. It is rumored Pat was there and was engaged. But there is no shortage of baseless stories on the battlefield.

I can also play today. As I recall it, Kevin's end of the field suffered tragic setbacks.

I think that I will make today's pre-game muster on Discord. Whether I can play or not will depend on how good Kevin has kept his MODs up to date.

Of course I will blame it on you, Mike. Nothing has changed. There are some additions to the mod, modules, layout, logistics. They are in the download channel of Discord. You'll need those.

Hello gents.
What minimum ping / network speed do we need to play our games ? I'm in a place where my network is much poorer than usual, don't know if it will be enough to play and i don't want to waste your game session if it to slow on my side.

I'm not sure. The best thing to do is join a game and we will see what the lag is like.

I should be able to play today. Will most likely be 15-30 mins late so I will just take a brigade at a convenient time.

Sunday was an interesting battle. Contested river crossings are always a treat, especially when one orders a brigade commander South across the bridge only to get the reply of "I have no business South of this river." Add a non-cooperative, additional Corps command into the mix and I think it has all the makings of an _excellent_ opportunity for Vince to take command next time :-)

I can play at the usual time, 15:00 EST 19:00 GMT. Sunday's scenario goes in the Not Pat folder. Although I suppose the battle did reflect the historic reality of the end of the 1807 Polish campaign. Benningsen, (aka Pat), wanted to place a river between himself and the French. However, the Czar had sent an emissary with the power to replace the General if he didn't give battle before hiding behind the barrier. Forced to fight, Benningsen decided on an easy victory against a lone French Corps west of Friedland and re-crossed the river. The rest, as they say, is history.
