I can play today at the usual time, 14:00 EST, 19:00 BST. Sunday's battle was a re-fight of Friday's with some changes to the AI code and reduced defensive values for the buildings. The results in that one test were the fortress defenders were kicked out after about 20 minutes of fighting and the company sized skirmish units were not entering the fortresses. Oh, we also won the battle despite having a real Austrian commanding a third of the army.

Re: Impromptu Games
typical Fox News reporting going on here...
CNN would explain it as the following: Despite the incompetent leadership of the General in charge of the center (insert a certain modder on this forum here), both wings of the Army ensured a stunning victory for the glorious Austrian Empire. Little must be said for the supremely competent leadership depicted by General Dedovich, who despite being given a force mostly comprised of Volunteers, brilliantly turned the French left flank, capturing an entire Cuirassier brigade in the process! - For his glorious deeds, he was awarded the Golden Order of Maria Theresa.

Re: Impromptu Games
now before this totally biased fake news reporter publishes something untruthful again:
tonight was a brilliant victory for the Austrian Army once more... with a few lackluster divisional commanders being demoted for "lacking initiative" and one - von Ulm - being courtmartial for "cowardice in face of the enemy"

I can play today at the usual time, 14:00 EST, 19:00 BST. The fake news presented above can be safely ignored. It was a resounding Austrian defeat on Tuesday. A lack of leadership was to blame. No need to say who was in command. By now, that should be clear to everyone.

I can play today at the usual time, 14:00 EST, 19:00 BST. Friday's battle was Prussian victory despite us having a division commander who had difficulty following simple directions.

"...who had difficulty following simple directions"
EASY DIRECTIONS No.137 IN A SERIES OF 500:-
"You see those fellows over there with the blue/white/red striped flags? Kill them."

I shall be there today. Don't spend too much on that compass Miko, Kevin will just give it away to Madam Fifi and insist that the only direction he needs is to be told which city the closest bordello is in.

I can play today at the usual time, 14:00 EST, 19:00 BST. On Sunday, the Prussians tried to extend their winning streak but came up short. Still, for 1806 Prussians, they did remarkably well.

I will also be there today to restore balance in the sanity of the command structure. Continued sessions of letting Kevin go unsupervised no doubt be disastrous if left unchecked

The loss of an empire pales into insignificance when one's army wears the best hats. Humanity is not about power, liberty or control, it is about fashion. In this regard the 1806 Prussians will always come out on top regardless of other factors like being extremely dead.

I can play today at the usual time, 14:00 EST, 19:00 BST. Putting the very best face on the outcome of Tuesday's battle, we could claim a very minor victory by the British/Spanish/Portuguese in the area of Utitza. Maybe we'll do better today.

Re: Impromptu Games
I will miss today's festivities as I will be attending a wedding (alas not my own). I should be there Sunday.
"Putting the best face" on Kevin's Tuesday performance is to say "Kevin's division advanced south towards the enemy"
The fact that it only went about 650 yards south before halting and letting the other divisions to carry the fight _much_ farther south is not something that needed to be mentioned. Some who went south in the deep woods looking for Phil and instead found Russians could probably have used some help from Kevin. But such help never arrived. Others also engaged tough-minded Russians to the Southeast. Local newspaper reporting -- and by all accounts it is solid journalism -- suggest that Grog, Digby and I did much fighting against fearful odds.

Re: Impromptu Games
Napoleon once famously said “Never trust anyone named Kevin for such individuals will lose the campaign for you the moment you give them the slightest responsibility.” He also said that an army marches upon its stomach unless Kevin is the head cook, in which case starvation is preferable.
Look it up. And if you can’t find anything via Google just use what I wrote above as your primary reference
I can be there today, but only for about 2 hours. Will happily lead a brigade to glory on the field or in ransacking Kevin’s baggage train, whichever opportunity is nearest.

I can play today at the usual time, 14:00 EST, 19:00 BST. My baggage train is well guarded at all times. Why do you think I only fight with 10% of my forces? The other 90% are employed with more important matters.

I can play today at the usual time, 14:00 EST, 19:00 BST. Tuesday's battle against the 3rd Coalition ended as one would expect with a resounding French victory. All the French players did well save for one particular brigade commander who made no positive contribution to the effort. No need to mention names. We all know who it is.

I can play today at the usual time, 14:00 EST, 19:00 BST. Friday's campaign game was a bloody affair with neither side making any progress. It's just the way French-Russian battles are suppose to be.
