I can play today at the unusual time, 13:00 EST, 19:00 GMT. Sunday's battle was a victory for the French forces. The British could not stand up to the superior tactics of the French infantry and cavalry. I think we also had artillery on the field but I'm not sure that they fired any rounds.

Maybe having two extra players also helped. Regardless, the results were much better. The Austrian forces were pushed back and Oftenstten was captured.

In reference to last Sunday - indeed the artillery WAS on the field, masterfully handled in grand battery style, waiting for the timid cavalry to support it.

Wrong on all counts.  The Euros have finally caught up to us so we are back to the usual time, 14:00 EST and 19:00 BST.

As for those guns, they were repeatedly saved from capture by the gallant cavalry.  I'm not sure why, as they were no benefit to us.

The record will show that it wasn't the town that was important, it was the French that were occupying it. However there were no French at the town by the end. Don't believe everything you read in the papers.

I can play today at the unusual time, 14:00 EST, 19:00 GMT. On Sunday the French foolishly crossed the Obra as it was beginning to flood. With part of their army trapped on the southern bank, the Austrian forces made quick work of them and drove the remnants back into the river.

I can play today at the unusual time, 14:00 EST, 19:00 GMT.  On Tuesday, the Austrians made a heroic assault against the French, pushing them back and achieving the central position!  That's what Pallus and Varro said at Cannae.  Fortunately for the Austrians, the battle ended before we were surrounded on all four sides.  Here is the battle from that cavalry commander's perspective. There are some nice long shots of the battlefield in this video. With a sprite ratio of 2:1, it gives one an idea of how big these battles were.
