Re: Ye King of Spaine Inn - NPC OOC Discussion
I'm interested.
I have dropped the last couple games I've played. I have a sinking feeling that a hardware component on my rig is going faulty. My computer has told me it's a fault in my AE25 unit and it's going to go 100% failure in 72 hours...
For that reason, perhaps I should angle for a strategic-level command.

It would be cool if you GCM gents could advertise the restart over on the GCM forum - I'm not player poaching, just would like to see more guys having a go at HITS and a new style of warfare. The lover of pretty uniforms and big hats will be in his element. This campaign has so far thrown up some pretty interesting battles, rather one-sided but still fun.

I'm sure just about everyone playing in Neal's campaign will want to play in yours.
I'll spread the word.
Sharpe already said he wants to play.

Awesome. I appreciate the flag waving on my behalf. It would still be great if interested people would say so here. The campaign does need around 20 map players!

Byrd and Morsey have you a preference for which side?
For those newly interested the campaign map and rules are here:

I have to say you kind of sold me on your concept of the Spanish, but I'd play what's needed. Division or Corps preferably.

Re: Ye King of Spaine Inn - NPC OOC Discussion
Spanish commands are armies... though in fact these are each a corps and sometimes just a big division
A few of the original Spanish players elected to shift over to command the British when they come ashore so there will be some open Spanish commands.

Cool. I'll play whatever side needs players as long as I can play.

Re: Ye King of Spaine Inn - NPC OOC Discussion
I would like to rejoin the campaign, in my old command as G.d.D. Mutton (or if you prefer "Lambchops"). Will need to reinstall the entire game and mods as I just bought a new computer. I was trying a solo WW2 campaign game vs. the computer and was bored to tears. Help!!!
P.S. - Vive le France!!
PPS - I still have my campaign files and notes and emails should you require any historical info on that.

Thank you, Mr. Digby! Ah, I can smell the airs of my Division's camp as we await the hour to deal with those revolting Spaniards!
On a more practical note, I observe that I still have all my previous French forum permissions.

Yes Ike, no-one had any of their permissions revoked. I just have to assign new ones to the new players.
Thanks Steve. I am not sure Palafox in Saragosa will be a very engaging command at the moment, though someone will have to make decisions for him even if its not a very flexible command! I haven't heard from Baldwin, so there's a Spanish command potentially free in Cataluna. Also Justin hasn't been around for some time so also Llamas in Valencia might need a new player. I need to send out notes to people to check who would like to continue.

Re: Ye King of Spaine Inn - NPC OOC Discussion
I will also resume my minor command. I think I was Junot?
I would like to see the concept of Floaters included in the Peninsular campaign. IMHO this helped to speed up the campaign with great success.

Yes, I will do that. All players will have map commands but people can play either side in the battles.
You were Verdier, Stefan, operating somewhere near Burgos. When the Portuguese 'front' becomes active you will move over to become Junot.
