I missed Friday since I was in the middle of walking and driving the 1862 Maryland Campaign for 3 days. I am all ready to take a page from McClellans book and apply it to Napoleonic warfare; in case of defeat I will be fully prepared to explain it away and, if necessary, blame Burnside. In this case no doubt Kevin will do nicely. We will simply refer to him as “Uncle Burn” vice Uncle Billy. It would also help matters Kevin if you could give me a copy of the enemy’s plan.

One of my men found a nice piece of camembert wrapped in a paper. To their surprise, the paper contained detailed orders for the French dispositions today. My staff thought it merely a poor attempt at maskirovka. I ordered it destroyed.

We played a 4-player. Prussians vs French. My stellar leadership and tactical skills enabled us, despite Kevin’s annoying complaints about fighting multiple divisions, to converge with 3 divisions upon a lone french division, destroy it, then pivot to attack the ones facing Kevin.
