I can play today at the usual time, 14:00 EST, 19:00 BST. Tuesday's battle was a surprising victory. Pat was in charge.

Martin, I don't have any of the Garnier maps anymore. I'm sure you can download some from the new GCM site.

I'm d/ling the full GCM2 map pack now and will have a look through them. I'm also working through our random maps and getting rid of the Inca platforms.

I will be there today.

Not sure why the last game I played was a “Pat folder” one. Perhaps Kevin has lost his touch. Happens with age I suppose. Martin and I were happily sharing a pint at one objective whilst Grog handily took the other two. There was some fighting going off down south apparently but nothing but victory and fleeing Austrians where I could personally see :-)

I can play today at the usual time, 14:00 EST, 19:00 BST. Friday's battle was a fine victory by the Austrians. The French have now been driven from Italy. Pizza is back on the menu.

I can play today at the usual time, 14:00 EST, 19:00 BST. Sunday's battle resulted in the French being driven out of Austria by Wellington and his merry men. Where will the poor unloved and unwanted French go next? Stay tuned.

I hear Mordor is warm this time of year. Not much egalite, liberte and fraternite down there though.

I can play today at the usual time, 14:00 EST, 19:00 BST. With the death of Napoleon just south of Aicha, the French forces lost all cohesion and scattered in all directions. The Prussians had no difficulty in preventing their escape to the north, but that was the one direction they did not try to take. Where will they be found next? scratch

I can play today at the usual time, 14:00 EST, 19:00 BST. The French finally were able to halt their retreat with a victory in Russia. This could be the start of the mother of all comebacks.

I suspect the Russians will have to retreat somewhere. Maybe Spain?

Alas I won't be around until later, but at best it'd only be for the last hour or so. I should make it Friday though.

I can also play. And fully prepared to be a snarky subordinate to Kevin or vice versa. That is, if I want to lower my standards enough to actually take time away from more important matters and communicate to him via courier. A tenuous prospect at best.

I can play today at the usual time, 14:00 EST, 19:00 BST. Friday's battle against the Austrian Empire resulted in a grand victory for the French. A new "fastest man in the world", Digby, was also crowned. cheers He proved he could retreat with blinding speed when his division was confronted by 4 battalions of snarling Austrians.

He even outpaced shirkers so they stayed with their battalions - well done, Sir cheers

Meanwhile Kevin demonstrated a new combined arms flanking maneuver with cavalry. It’s called the “shift-your-weight-in-the-saddle and lean left” to observe the infantry advance in the distance on the left flank. A similar maneuver is done for right flank thrusts. This pinnacle of tactical brilliance saves cavalry losses while simultaneously further endearing them to their infantry brethren.
