I will be there today.

The last battle was a lot of fun. Very glad that Morhys came out to join us and also handled his brigade very well. Hope you can join again Morhys!

Has anyone noticed how relatively quiet and harmonious the room is whilst Kevin is on Holiday? So peaceful. Serene. With an air of mutual respect flowing throughout. Kind of unnatural actually.

Ehey if you are CinC then you can add a sort of ‘roving embedded journalist’ flavor to things as you ride to division and brigade commanders and pull them into a chat channel. You can even adjust the music with each chat. Good luncheon music for Digby as you sit on a hill watching the battle eating food and drinking. Martial music to accompany one of Miko’s assaults. The sound of running water as you wait for Phil to emerge from the latrine.

Kevin should be back and he may have a scenario. I have a small players vs AI game set in the Prussian/Spanish silliness again.

I have a PvP scenario ready but it is really for 8 players so I doubt we'll get that many.

I can do a 6 player PvP in case anyone wants to do that.

Hmmm, I guess today's battle will bring this kumbaya moment to a screeching halt.

I will put together a PvP scenario in case people are up for that. I have another game vs the AI available in the "1806 Prussian invasion of Spain" universe. Also happy to play anything else anyone has prepared.

Kevin, our newest recruit, Morhys, doesn't have Gettysburg so recently I've been avoiding any of those maps.

Anybody free and up for another game tonight?
That is, if anyone has any energy left from last night!
It could be a PvAi, which could be considered restorative therapy.hehe

No worries, Martin.

The opportunity came late, so I thought I'd put it out just in case.

Thanks for dropping in later and the chat.

Tues. PvP battle saw a determined Austrian assault upon the peace loving, wine sipping French.  The French way of life was preserved.
The battle can be watched from the filthy Austrian point of view here: https://mixer.com/DumpTruckGames?vod=259448855

I can also play today.

Clearly we are seeing a decline of overall play experience in the wake of Kevins return from the Grand Canyon. I will try to restore some semblance of self worth and dignity to things today.

The Grande Armee was left to starve in Russia Friday as the relief column was unable to reach them. Poor decision making at the highest level is said to be the cause. Rolling Eyes

That would have been whoever was in command of the supply wagons then.

I have the roster here. Let’s see who had the supply wagons. Hmmmm. It was not Martin. Nor I. As we might recall, in fact, Martin and I were the ones cut off. Surviving. Not Phil. I distinctly remember the local orchard was having a 2-for-1 sale on fruit trees so he was off doing that. Not Grog. He was actually doing the fighting.

No it was someone else in command of that division. Let me think. I know the name. Tip of my tongue. Well it will come back to me. But as Martin says, THAT was the guy.

That is good news. Be sure to download the latest version of the Mod, (1.32) and Supplemental maps, (1.22), if you haven't already.
