Re: Impromptu Games
Can't play today fellas. Away for a few days. Can prob play Weds. Have a good game. If PvP, keep it clean and no punching below the belt, unless, of course you are facing Kevin ;-)

I shall supply baseball bats for use against Kevin below the belt.

Re: Impromptu Games
For Wednesday 20th Feb Phil is not around so it may be as few as three of us. Apart from me, Kevin and Mike, can anyone else play?
I have a 4-division scenario ready to go vs the AI but will also knock together a 2 vs 2 PvP scenario as well.

I plan to be there. I am currently also working on a few scenarios. But will probably introduce them for consideration on Sunday or next week

With 4 of us I have my 4-player v AI game. I'll do a 2 v 2 PvP as well so that Mike and Pat can try their luck again against me and Kevin if they want a rematch

Re: Impromptu Games
I can play today at the usual time, 14:00 EST, 19:00 GMT. As reported elsewhere, Sunday saw a glorious French victory. The only discouraging note was that the pillaging of the British baggage trains yielded little outside of women's shoes and under garments. Has someone made a scenario for today? If not, I have one or two laying around.

Digby said he had one or two. And I might as well. So there will be candidates to choose from

I can play today at the usual time, 14:00 EST, 19:00 GMT. Yet another glorious victory on Friday. We are going to get tired of all the winning. Who we are fighting today is unknown. Does anyone have a scenario? If not, we can always play one of my" powder puff" ones.

Re: Impromptu Games
I sense an attitude brewing West of the Rockies.
I advise you all to take a closer look at the .dll file he sendnout today. Likely tailored to his nefarious purposes
Not today for me gents. I will be happily sharing the company today of someone a helluva lot cuter than you lot. Why she continues to like me despite the fact I hang out with you is a minor miracle in of itself
See you this week later

Re: Impromptu Games
I can play today at the usual time, 14:00 EST, 19:00 GMT. Once again, more winning. It appears that being rid of a certain CinC makes all the difference in the world. Even achieving victory with the 1800 Austrians is possible.

Re: Impromptu Games
There is a rumor that an exiled CinC is researching and experimenting with scenarios. Turns out one can modify the dll to make the AI extremely aggressive within 1000 yards of “MTG”

Re: Impromptu Games
I've got a choice of scenarios - Peninsular PvP, French vs 1812 Russian AI on a 5mi map and (no, stop laughing) Spanish vs French AI (1808) on a 2.5mi map.

Re: Impromptu Games
I can play today at the usual time, 14:00 EST, 19:00 GMT. Out winning ways continued Weds., giving the 1807 Russians/Prussians a thorough thrashing. Unstoppable is a word that comes to mind. Although Pat graciously offered a scenario, I think we should wait until he is available to participate in his own creation. It also gives me the opportunity to place him in an extremely exposed position where maximum damage can be meted out.

Re: Impromptu Games
There is a 50-50 chance I can make it. If I can I will give a heads up on discord. And if you still want to do my scenario it will be fine if i am late. I can take a brigade and get orders on the field.

Re: Impromptu Games
I will be busy this evening so don't wait for me. I may be around later and will drop by Discord. If there's a convenient place to stop and let me take a brigade that would be great, otherwise go on without me.

Re: Impromptu Games
I can play today at the usual time, 14:00 EST, 19:00 GMT. I guess the good times had to end. We were sadly defeated by the AI. Even sadder, we didn't know it until we viewed the replay.

Re: Impromptu Games
I can play today at the usual time, 14:00 EST, 19:00 GMT. Another victory for the human side. Given who our CinC was, it was a shocking result. However, upon further reflection, the entire strategy was just to remain in place and ignore all other orders from him, so I guess it's not so shocking after all. Does anyone have a scenario for today's affair?
