Impromptu Games

I can play today at the usual time, 14:00 EST, 19:00 BST. The French took control of the important towns along the Rosenberg Strasse. Amazingly, they discovered the large Austrian force moving to occupy the French LOC and drove them away. It almost makes one believe the humans are becoming competent commanders. Can the Austrians recover from this string of defeats. We'll take their side in the upcoming battle today.

I can play today at the usual time, 14:00 EST, 19:00 BST. In the last battle, the Austrians failed to achieve their objectives. In true Austrian fashion, the commanders put most of their force where it wasn't really needed and were unable to respond to the changing battlefield situation. Pitiful. It's a good thing the Feldmarshals were all royalty, else Kaiser Franz would be lopping off heads. We'll try again as the Austrians. This time, achieving a victory won't be so easy.

I will marching to the sound of guns today. My men seem to have got the marching bit nailed. What's the next activity on the Kaiser Cheif's orders?

I shall be there this evening. Sounds like we'll have quite a crowd. I suggest someone gives me a poxy little brigade of Exp3 Landwehr so I can't do to much damage.*

I can play today at the usual time, 14:00 EST, 19:00 BST. As was usual for the Austrians, ineptitude at the highest levels led to another stinging defeat. With the gates to Vienna now open to Napoleon, Kaiser Franz has unceremoniously decamped to Moravia. A cease fire has been agreed to while peace negotiations proceed. Fortunately for us, British troops have landed in Belgium. We shall, Make Britain great again!"

Special kudos go to the British division which heroically engaged and held back a single enemy battalion and cavalry regiment for the better part of the battle. It's the stuff of sagas. We'll take the British side again and try for a rare and coveted hat trick, winning three in a row.

This allowed the French to inflict heavy losses on the hapless lobster backs. We'll take the French side again and try to follow up with yet another victory.

The French have followed with every intention of driving the enemy into the sea. We will take the British side today and try to stem the tide.

The British advance south came to an embarrassing halt in the last battle due to a French spoiling attack. The boys in red never got close enough to their objective to even see it. His Grace has ordered the army to flee north and concentrate south of Brussels. We'll try to secure this region for the army.
