I can play today at the usual time, 14:00 EST, 19:00 BST. Friday's battle resulted in a French victory. The Emperor's forces are moving south, closing in on the city of Posen. Can the humans make it two in a row? Will the usual incompetence of the high command reassert itself? Stay tuned.

I can play today at the usual time, 14:00 EST, 19:00 BST.  Horseflesh is plentiful and cheap.  24,000 cavalry engaged in a tremendous struggle throughout the day.  The infantry and artillery were mostly reduced to the role of spectator as the men huddled in squares while the battle swirled around them.  Whenever the cavalry disengaged to regroup, the artillerymen would leave the squares, re-man the guns, while the infantry moved forward.  Soon, however, the cavalry returned, the artillerists again fled to the safety of the reformed squares and all one could do is cheer on their mounted comrades.  An epic battle.
We'll again take the French role and push on from Posen.

What a Great Game! The fight for the hill to our centre was relentless and I think taking it and deploying our Guns there was the deciding factor. Well played to everyone.

Oh, you mean American football. That's rugby with all sorts of silly body armour and helmets. Rugby for little girls in other words.

Mind you, the way some of the footie pansies roll around in fake agony after an opposing player gets with two yards of them is more than a little embarrassing.

Indeed, we will be playing tomorrow and trying to pick up the pieces. Yesterday was a tragic defeat.

I can play today at the usual time, 14:00 EST, 19:00 BST. Weds. battle was a disheartening loss for the French. Although the attack against the Austrian right went well, the timely arrival of the their reserves turned the assumed French victory to ashes. The shocking reversal threw them into a panic, causing the army to flee north, abandoning Posen. We'll again take the French side and try to halt the Austrian onslaught.

I will make it today but I may be as late as 1230 but most likely will be there on time.

Update - been in bed all day with a migraine, due to the oppressive weather I suppose. Won't be able to make it today after all. Will try to catch you soon.

I can play today at the usual time, 14:00 EST, 19:00 BST. The French recovered from their previous disaster and managed to stop the Austrian advance. They withdrew to the south and have occupied a region east of Moosburg. We'll take the Austrian side today and see if we can reverse their ill-fortune.

I can play today at the usual time, 14:00 EST, 19:00 BST. The last battle ended in a draw, forcing both armies to separate and maneuver for advantage. We'll stay with the Austrian side and try to eek out a victory.

Can make it tonight

I can play today at the usual time, 14:00 EST, 19:00 BST. The Austrians were completely out-generaled Weds. The French used a single division to hold off three Austrian divisions for two hours. Once that nettlesome division was removed and we marched on the objective at Hohenwarts, the French corps assembled there merely laughed and beckoned us forward. The enemy used his cavalry to further delay us. His infantry had almost no need to engage.

Today we'll take on the roll of the French and fight on everyone's favorite map, Meckel.

I shall be around today if there are others willing to join me to die for their Emperor!

The French were able to successfully cross the Schmerz River and establish a defensive line so that the rest of the army could cross unmolested. The advance guard is driving south towards Budweis, deep in Austrian territory. We'll take the French side and attempt to capture the important towns in the region.

He did say important ones. This means we can reduce the list only to those with:

1) Fine hotels
2) Rich churches
3) The better bierkellers
4) The 5-star whorehouses

All other settlements are strategically irrelevant, whether they sit astride major rivers or command important road crossings or house the enemy royal court or not.

Well said and from you point of view there might be at least one important city per map. Although when the scenario maker is deranged you might 10 or more per map.

It is a harsh world we live in when those type control our fate.
