Re: Impromptu Games
I can play today at the usual time, 14:00 EST, 19:00 BST. We still need to give the new non-wheeling code a proper test, so it will be a French/Austrian PvAI scenario on open ground.

Re: Impromptu Games
Due to our attacking uphill it wasn't possible to see if the AI was wheeling much. By the time I got up onto the flat ground the AI was almost done in. I think you need an elevated viewpoint (either defend from a hill or fake high up camera) to see this enough to make a judgement on it.
Also my apologies for anything incoherent I said after the battle! I did a Reno and drank rather too much during the fighting!

I can play today at the usual time, 14:00 EST, 19:00 BST. I have put together a co-op scenario that will be fought on open ground (unless the C-in-C does something REALLY unorthodox) with hopefully enough height variations for players to watch the AI under the new dll conditions.

I'll be there. At least as CinC I won't suffer any abandonment issues.

I'm trying to get Gonzo back on board - any chance the next scenario is on no-need-to-purchase map?

Re: Impromptu Games
Sunday's battle doesn't require any GB or WL map to be purchased.

If Miko can host, I have 2 scenarios ready, a PvP that requires 4 players and a Co-op vs AI that requires 3.
PvP is 1807 French v Russians.
Co-Op is player team of 1806 Prussians.
Both are on the snowy Eylau map (but I won't be using the deep snow effects so cavalry is still useful).

Great, is Eylau map based on any GB maps? (just checking if it's Gonzo friendly).

Re: Impromptu Games
It's a community made free add-on map by Mark Tewes and is included in the Supplemental maps Mod, so if Gonzo has all the KS Mods up to date he is good to go.

Re: Impromptu Games
I should make it.....
How did yesterday turn out?
That was a fastly changing battlefield, Austrians behind every blade of grass.
Hats of to Digby for keeping up with it.

Both are the NEW AND IMPROVED 1815 Prussians on the Ligny map. One is probably going to be a bloody frontal assault and the other might be a bit less bloody.

I can play today at the usual time, 14:00 EST, 19:00 BST. I have both a PvP and PvAI on the new Gettysburg map, and a new dll, of course.

I might make it today.
Do we need anything else DL'ed except for the new GB map?

Re: Impromptu Games
No, just put the GB Turning Point lsl file in the Supplemental Maps 1.16/Maps sub-folder. I have replacements for all the other map files that are associated with it.

I have 2 Co-op scenarios ready that require a minimum of 3 players.
One is the potentially bloody frontal attack scenario of 1815 Prussians on the Ligny map. The second is French vs Spanish using my newly completed Spain 1808 OOB. For this I'll need to distribute an updated OOBnames.xml file, plus anyone who wants the Spain_1808 master OOB may have it.
If people would rather play PvP I am hoping Kevin has a scenario we could play.

I can play and do have a PvP Prussian vs French battle on one of the Antietam maps if needed.

Gents, my broadband just returned 5" ago if you're wondering what befell me. No earthquakes or forming volcanoes.

Re: Impromptu Games
Probably for the best. After viewing the replay it was decided that court martial proceedings should take place for your failure to follow orders. No need to mount a defense, the verdict was predetermined and the firing squad has been assembled.
On a lighter note, I can play today at the usual time 14:00 EST, 19:00 BST. There will also be a new dll.
