I am available for a game today at the usual time, 15:00 EST, 20:00 BST. I have an Austrian vs French PvP scenario and a new dll. The dll is not well tested so the guinea pig battalion is being mustered into service.

Was there something wrong in the dll for troops going into square?

They would not go into square. Can you give orders while in the courier screen?

No, only the courier screen is active at that time.

I could not get my troops to go into square yesterday when I was falling back.  Thought it may have been something in the new dll that was changed by mistake.  But I was trying to fall back, put my men into square and while sending the same courier orders to the same person several times while trying to fall back.


A futile endeavor it was and a waste of my free time.

If you do not want to be CinC then you should be willing to do what he tells you to (PHIL) without second guessing him.  I spent way too much time sending the same order over and over again with the same lame reply.  This prevented me from handling my troops the proper way which lead to a quicker demise.

Then later I am right next to you Phil and you do not respond. When asked you if you were getting my messages you said you are not getting my messages when I saw you receive them.

I really do not need this crap.....

Time for you to be CinC more often since you know better or think you can do a better job in the back seat.  The CinC makes the plan conducts the battle and pays for the loss or revels in the victory.

I think I will take some time away from the game and maybe when those of you have to take the CinC position because no one else will, might appreciate those that are willing to be the CinC better.

I can play today at the usual time, 15:00 EST, 20:00 BST. We have a new dll that hopefully deals with the wheeling issue, so I think we'll do a PvAI to check how it impacts the AI's ability to fight.

I can make it. I have also put together a co-op scenario that will require 3 players. The players are Peninsular French vs Anglo-Allied forces using my recently updated OOB. The game is very loosely based on an action that took place shortly after Salamanca. I have an updated OOBnames.xml file for everyone if we use this scenario.

Sorry about this soldiers, but I'll have to put off my first Napoleonic MP effort for a week. I Can't play today.
