There might be enough players on for tonight. Have you got a scenario ready?

Re: Impromptu Games
Mike, it was a tough scenario - it's a shame you've dropped. We didn't take the Chateau in the end. So even though Andrew had +5000 score I think we failed.
Kevin - could you put somewhere a guide how to reconstruct game from save/dump?
We continued without Mike even though me and Andrew had a rough idea what to do, but not entirely sure about all the steps. As you've done it hundreds of times, I'd rather relay on your guidance than trying to figure it out myself.

Re: Impromptu Games
I think I know how to do this now.
1) After a player leaves the game, do not quit but hit the tilde key "~" (on my European keyboard it is in fact the @ sign key). On some others it is the ¬ key (left of the number "1" key.
2) Then type "dumpscen" without the quotes.
3) Make a note of the scenario time before you quit th egame.
4) Optionally you can also hit tilde again and type "dumpdead" as well which saves the casualty sprites file.
5) Go to your My Documents/SoWWL/Scenarios folder and in there will be a new folder called ScenSave with inside it a scenario file.
6) Open that file up and do a search for "surrender" and that will bring up all the units whose flag is now a white surrendered flag.
7) Delete all those units.
8 )Put the edited scenario file into your original scenario folder either overwriting the original scenario file or save that with a new name.
9) If you used "dumpdead" as well you will find a casfx.csv file in your main My Documents/SoWWL folder.
10) Copy that to your scenario folder as well.
11) Edit your scenario.ini file to make the start time the correct time it was when you saved the game and if you have saved the casfx.csv file, change carryover=0 to carryover=1. That should make the dead bodies from before show.
EDIT: Kevin got there first but I posted anyway for the casualty file if you wanted it.

Re: Impromptu Games
T storm in the valley below knocked out electricity just long enough for my battery back up to shut down, no sooner had windows closed the lights came on. LOL We some lightning close to the house for about 5 minutes after I left because of it.
Thanks Kevin and Martin for this guide.
Miko I thought the AI acted pretty well during that game. They had reserves coming up in the rear of the OBJ just before I lost power.

Good heavens Grog, who IS that fellow in your avatar. He looks like he's just invented absinthe and been testing it all day.
Its a KK campaign game today and seems like we might have 1 player per brigade!

I have the Rus and Brit OOB right and have a scenario PvAI if we have 5 or could be PvP if we have 9 or 10. LOL
