The weekday game will be this coming Friday at 19.30 (UK time), as this is clearly the favourite.

This weekend's game may be on Sunday at 19.30 (UK time), but we are short of numbers at the moment, so please get doodling.

At the moment we have 6 signed-up, so could have 2 teams of 3, and play Kevin's ACW scenario on the Salem Church map.?

I also have a 3v3 scenario for the Prairie Grove map. It will require everyone to have that mod. The link is: Prairie Grove Mod
It needs to be placed ABOVE the Courier&Maps mod in the Mods screen.

I would be happy with either, Billy. Why don't we see who turns up (I'm aware of a couple of other possibles), and you can make the call based on your knowledge of the 2 scenarios.

That's fine. If we do the Salem Church scenario, you'll be the Union commander. Niall, (I'll follow him anywhere), or Neal will would make a fine southern leader.

Hope you can make it, Mike. Friday's game will be interesting. The Salem Church map offers many interesting tactical situations. I've stalemated against the AI playing both sides, even with full knowledge of what to expect. It's rather good in these situations. We'll see if Martin and Neal are up to that level of command. Ah, you mean the Japanese 1942 model where the men are brainwashed to dash themselves against the enemy and the 1943 Soviet model where if they don't the political officers behind shoot them. Its a tough choice to know which will bring out the best in your boys Wink

Team assignments will be made just before the start. Banzai charges and/or executions of the less than enthusiastic may take place as soon as the game begins. Both sides have difficulties and opportunities of a different nature. Pity the division commanders, gentlemen. Too bad Niall, (I'd follow him anywhere), is not in charge of one of the sides. This was designed with him in mind.

Yes, Digby you are correct. The only problem I really have is that both models give them men an unacceptably high hope of success.

I'll have a couple basic questions for you tomorrow. I'll be on a bit early so we can go into a side channel and you can answer them.

I don't mind if I'm all arty and I have human commanders for each brigade. I think I'll have my hands full as it is, not being able to see much.

It should be an exciting game. Looking forward to it!
