04. Battle of Valladolid
To kick off our post-summer break campaign restart with a bang, we have a battle to be fought at the very beginning of turn 3, 1/July at Valladolid between elements of Moncey's Corps (Andy) and elements of the Army of Castile (Mike).
I'd like to try and fit this battle in over the weekend of Sat 31 Aug/Sun 1 Sept, so Andy and Mike can you make either of those days at the usual time of around 19:30 UK time?

Re: 04. Battle of Valladolid
I'll be on vacation starting this weekend so I will be unavailable. Someone can fill the void though.
Also as a side note: I will be going back to college in under a months time so I won't be too available in the future except on certain weekends where I am either home or have a long weekend. I should still be able to do operational decisions on army maneuvering.

Re: 04. Battle of Valladolid
Thanks guys. This battle will need a lot of French players so its perhaps best if I push it back another week in the hope that more can mark it in their diaries if I give more notice.

Still away on hols, so not sure if I am free that weekend until I can check my diary. Will be back thursday. I'm itching for a game this weekend, though.

Re: 04. Battle of Valladolid
We can try to do Valladolid this weekend. I'll e-mail the French team. Other than Martin and Mark they hardly seem to respond on the forums. A little disheartening. We seem to get more interest from the Spanish and I suppose if push comes to shove we can have Spanish players on the French side.

Re: 04. Battle of Valladolid
Can't do this weekend, sorry.
We're at the theatre... every night
From next week becomes more possible as Sam is getting more mobile and is talking about getting off her crutches. Maybe even in time for the Zombie kriegsspiel (so I signed her up!).

I will try to make it, but I can't make any promises at the moment. I'd love to play of course, but many other things happening!
Also I need to update everything I haven't played in so long

Re: 04. Battle of Valladolid
So that's a possible 7... we need 3 more minimum. Its looking dodgy but I'll keep the Saturday 19:30 UK timeslot open as still possible.

Re: 04. Battle of Valladolid
It's not looking good. Why don't we meet up at 19:30 UK time anyway on Saturday and if we haven't enough for a campaign battle we can all try out the new mod updates.

Should be there. Wife not been too good today so, if she's still unwell, possibly not.

Re: 04. Battle of Valladolid
We didn't get enough players on Saturday so I want to ask everyone to try and play next weekend. I cannot make Sunday so I'm looking at Saturday at 19:30h UK time. Most important is to get the two army commanders present first, so Andy and Mike, can you play next Saturday?
