I have a PvP although its in the new small Spanish map again, and in the same half as well, so may not be the most exciting game.

Never say never... Btw, even though it was bitter experience, it was also another lesson for me.

You said we were to move NW so I did...Found a hill and started to beat the drums trying to call the Bears to our trap. I thought Phil was supposed to come NW too.....But no one was on my right flank.....I am used to that when under the command of certain Generals so I thought it was one of those kind of days. My newly appointed XO (MTG aka Kevin aka the instigator) was really upset that the CinC separated us and that there was a bear pile on Phil.

No way we could save Phil he was running away from us so we did the logical things and took the OBJ and then moved South.

I do have a position for a new XO but I fear the guillotine will be my final cut.

With an XO like him who needs enemies...

More atonement? As I recall, I lost a battle on the Meckel map in 19 minutes.

I suggested elsewhere that David be given a small division, he might find that independence of command is easier or lets him learn new things.

We played 1807 Russians against the AI again because we wanted to see if we could reproduce the problems David experienced on the Chalons map last week.

We ran into lots of problems. We got the bad frame crash twice. I had 2 Cossack regiments walk along roads for 30 minutes and become exhausted (completely exhausted). Several players found that infantry fell back from firefights very easily and in some cases units in reserve fell back when they were not even engaged. It feels like the infantry now has the "go back and find a safer spot" logic that the cavalry uses when its left standing under artillery fire.

I found infantry got tired much more quickly.

Troops are more skittish/fragile generally.

Everyone had negative comments about the current dll.

I think it would help if you informed us exactly what changes you propose to make and why and what effect you intend with these changes.

For me personally the dll we had about 2 weeks ago seemed to be working fairly well, something has definitely gone a bit weird in the more recent versions.
