Yes, its the Iberian Peninsular, not the Yorktown Peninsula, and the year is 1808, not 1862.

One of my friends tried to register in the forum and I think he's having the same problem as Robert McLeod, when he gets an activation email an clicks the link is getting a message that the page is not active.
Please could some admin have a look at this issue? Thank you.

One of the issues I ran into was as a US visitor I have to use this address https://kriegsspiel.forumotion.net/ and the http://forum.kriegsspiel.org.uk links in the e-mails do not redirect. Also the Front webpage does not display correctly. This is what I see on Kriegsspiel.org.uk
Not sure if its a browser issue (I am using Chrome, but it also displays like this in IE), or a website formatting issue.

Re: I heard someone talk about a Peninsula Campaign.
I think there are 2 separate issues here:
1. The website is in the middle of a rebuild program. Unfortunately one of the small team who was involved had to drop out due to medical problems, and the other has been hit by work issues recently. I suspect we just have to wait on that one.
2. There is a problem with forum registration and the password system is not always working as it should. I tried to set up Robert McCloud with a temporary password a few days ago, and have asked him to confirm that works. If it does I can do the same for anyone else.
The above said, I'm not an expert on any of this. I will refer all this to MJ1, who is my fellow admin, and much more tech-savvy.

Re: I heard someone talk about a Peninsula Campaign.
I cannot open the site with Chrome any more. I now use internet explorer.
I think it might have been since I started using Malwarebytes anti-malware, which I understand uses the same port when running but I may well be wrong. Otherwise, it might be another of my programs which is interfering with chrome's access to the KS site.

I use Firefox (v33 or something its now at) and rarely have any problems with forum formatting. You could try that browser.
Pleased you are telling your friends about the KS forums. Thanks Pepe!

Just tried it on Firefox and still seeing an issue, also cant join on anything but the .net address. Might have a word with the webmaster as it seems to affect mostly the international audience.

You are more than wellcome Martin.
I just told him how I enjoy HITS games and also posted a small AAR with some screenshots from the battle of Calahorra in a Spanish forum where we met. After that I think he's been reading the forum.

J. B Hood, one of the regulars at the GCM group has asked to join the campaign on the French side. I don't have a map command free right now but have set him up with downloads, TS server details and invited him along to join the MP games. I asked him to post on the forums and say hi.

Re: I heard someone talk about a Peninsula Campaign.
Have just checked, but unlike the other recent joiners, there is no record of him attempting to register. Can you ask him to try again please, Pepe? Once he's gone through that process, and has supplied an email address, I can provide him with a temporary password.
Well done on the recruitment front!

Re: I heard someone talk about a Peninsula Campaign.
That's good news. I have at least 2 Spanish commands without players and another will appear next turn. Later on another British command comes ashore and then all hell is let loose when Napoleon turns up with several new French corps!
So we have plenty of things for newly arriving players to do.
