Appreciating the time difference...

As I type this, it is now 2 PM or mid-afternoon for most of you across the pond. It is 6 AM for me here in California and I am just getting to my office.

Here is the view from my office.

It's a nice morning, it should only be 99 (37-38C) degrees today. Really, anything below 95 is not bad at all, especially if there's a little breeze. The mountains to the south are often invisible because of smog and haze. Los Angeles is over those mountains, about 90 minutes drive to myself.

Anyway, I need to get to work on my real job, but I'm wishing I was home already to work on the campaign. Let's hope the Little Father General is less demanding tonight than yesterday!

Enjoy your day, gentlemen.

Well I've just been out in the garden turning the compost heap. 16C and overcast in this part of the UK. Not bad for June  Shocked

That's really quite enough excitement at my age, so I'm now off to lie down!

Oh my. I wonder what would happen, Martin, if you ate a jalapeño.

Also, what are clouds? I hear people talking about them, but we never see any here.

Fear not, Neal. Ever solicitous for my welfare, my wife would never let me near a jalapeño.

I am however promised a cheese scone in 5 minutes.
