Man. . . they're really nice too. And these aren't based on any existing maps.

Re: Garnier Allowed to Make Maps
Yes thats great.
I hope it can be used for the CV maps as well soon.
Digby and I fought a battle in the Wilderness yesterday... Let's put it like this: HITS and the Chancellorsville maps will not become close friends . You will need to lower the tree percentage to something like 20% or it is a nightmare.
The Fredericksburg map seems very interesting though, looking forward to fight on it.

This is good news. I wonder why Norb changed his mind?

Re: Garnier Allowed to Make Maps
Excellent news. Garnier has really down a lot for players of the game.
Is it possible to download these maps directly, or do you need to register with the GCM first?

Installing the GCM launcher is the only way to get them, at least for now.

Re: Garnier Allowed to Make Maps
I presume NSD would want Garnier to release them stand alone won't they?

Re: Garnier Allowed to Make Maps
Why should they?
GCM is available to all players all they have top do is download it to get the modified or Garnier created maps.
Garnier is one of the reasons there is still a vibrant community.
We played the New Lge Random map 2 last night 17 players though one dropped after i destroyed his division caught him full in the flank. The seconded dropped through internet connection issues.
It ran smooth with little noticable lag from my view point as the host.

Re: Garnier Allowed to Make Maps
Last time I checked you had to have the GCM mod running to access the maps. Maybe a new version of it has changed that though.M.Jonah wrote:Why should they?

Re: Garnier Allowed to Make Maps
Garnier told me Little Powell is working on an installer which he will put in the NSD forum. Don't know when though.
Garnier did say that LP had to put in his (Garnier's) auto-digby crash bug which Garnier has in the GCM.
