Garnier's 100 random maps
Hm, I was sure I had this installed but it seems I don't - can anyone give me a download link for this map set please? Thanks.

Have just installed these myself. Rather than 100, there only seem to be 60 or so. Is that right?

If you simply run your gcm launcher every once in a while, you'll stay up to date with the latest versions.

Re: Garnier's 100 random maps
I don't have a GCM launcher
However I downloaded them yesterday and I have 100 maps. They're all numbered Martin so its easy to check in the Maps subfolder of the mod. They are numbered 4L-300 to 4L-399.

Re: Garnier's 100 random maps
I've realised what my problem was. I had an earlier map mod with exactly the same folder name. It contains a completely different selection of maps however, numbered 4L-94 to 99, 4L-115-159 and 4L-280 to 294. So I think SOW was getting confused between them.
Anyway I've renamed the old folder and all seems fine now, and I have access to both. Some nice looking maps in the new package.
Am going to run my GCM launcher as well, just to be on the safe side.
Thanks for the assistance guys.

Re: Garnier's 100 random maps
More than likely, very few (perhaps none) of us GCM fellows have downloaded the "100 maps," as we get new random maps about once a month from Garnier. The 100 random maps he published on Norbsoft are old maps that we don't play anymore.

Re: Garnier's 100 random maps
Thanks Mark.
I've just looked and see we're now up to Map 484. And this map series all appear to be large ones - presumably 5 miles. So they might be useful for manoeuvre-battles in the campaign, Neal.

Re: Garnier's 100 random maps
There were about a dozen of the 300-399 series that appealed to me with fairly significant watercourses with deep banks and in some places overlooked by high ground - this kind of terrain makes a good formal defend/attack scenario.
Martin, how did you see the maps up to 484? Via the GCM updater?

With so many to choose from, there will be some that suit, even if your criteria are quite strict. It's also a nice feature to be able to view the maps before selecting one.
Yes I got them via the launcher.
