Lord Wellington - Have we been supplied with actual guns, bayonets, boots, drill books. horses with the correct number of (unbroken) legs and proper soldiers instead of the Chelsea Pensioners we attacked with last week?

Re: Impromptu Games
Fantastic scenario Mike, enjoyed every minute of it. It looked epic as well, looking down from the low heights we managed to deploy on. I'll throw up some screenshots tomorrow.

Re: Impromptu Games
The size was pretty nice as well. It's kinda cool to have a battle big enough that you have no clue what's happening on the far end of it.

And this moment when you see the white flags start appearing on the far end signalling that enemy's broken... priceless

Re: Impromptu Games
I knew you guys to the east were doing well by the steady stream of enemy retreating troops running to the west right at us but we could not see the actual fight.

Re: Impromptu Games
The nicest part of the battle, was not having to fight in the woods on that map. I could actually see a large portion of the battle. The Russians came at my division in three distinct waves. That made for an epic scene. Those five Russian cuirassier regiments hovering around the town only added to the spectacle.

Re: Impromptu Games
Kevin, I will happily play a "gun guards" brigade for you again. It was nice to stand around eating biscuits and drinking tea and just supporting your guns while they shredded three enemy attacks. The view was indeed spectacular. Seeing the well-organised attack heading NW towards Miko and Steve this is the second time this week I've fought the AI where it didn't feel like I was battling a bunch of lines of computer code. It was a convincing fight.

Re: Impromptu Games
The artillery we had was really the queen of the field for a while. Then the Russians deployed theirs and the situation changed a bit.

Re: Impromptu Games
Apologies that I just disappeared yesterday but the game crashed on me and then kept crashing, rather like my division actually!
I hope to be back on the battlefield once my PC is up and running again......

Re: Impromptu Games
You may want to post on here what happened and is happening if you continue to have problems.
There are some known issues and guys here can help you out.
Don't feel bad us Prussians were all on the ropes, in the corner and being pounded on by the feisty French.
Win lose or draw I love that map.

Re: Impromptu Games
Thanks Mike! I'm having the PC overhauled, overdue anyway, so hopefully there won't be any more problems but it's good to know that I'm not the only one.
I don't know why I've always had an affinity for the Prussians but they just didn't know when they were beaten..... I think they got the message last night though!
