Re: Impromptu Games
Yes. I want to try the Chickamauga scenario again to see if it is the map or the NAT server. Since bypassing the NAT server fixed our problem Friday, I'd like to see if we can use that map. I can play at the usual time, 20:00 BST, 15:00 EST.

Great game yesterday, Chickamauga 6mi map works which is excellent news. An extremely confusing fight due to the absolute lies our useless and corrupt cavalry screens gave us!

Indeed, Mike's cavalry needs further training. He obviously is very slack when it comes to making sure his men are proficient in their duties. A change at the top may also be needed.

Crap it is not even noon time (here at least) and you are already on me!!! Where is Andrew at when I do not need him.
Glad that map works!!!
It seems that going straight to your connection is the way to go.

Kevin, are you around? We could play that British game you set up on the Chickamauga map.

Re: Impromptu Games
That sucks Digby, should be free for Friday. Do you want me to make a PVP or PVAI Kevin so we have a backup scenario.

Re: Impromptu Games
I already have one that I think will work well with the AI. If you make a PvP one we'll have everything covered.

Well.......
Some will be glad to note (while others will be unhappy) I finally broke down and purchased Waterloo. And, with a great deal of blood, sweat and tears, I was finally able to install all the mods without anyone's help. Well, not exactly. Kevin did spend a few minutes, actually make that hours, getting both my old Gettysburg and the new Waterloo "up to snuff!" When my hard-drive crashed a few months ago, my computer guy persuaded me to have Windows 10 installed...which I did! Without Kevin's intricate knowledge of Windows 7 being expertly applied to Windows 10, it would have been impossible for me to have both games up and running on the new hard-drive! A public "Thank You" goes to Kevin and his expertise. There will a celebratory party in Colorado this summer, hosted by the big "K"...date, time and place to be announced. Menu to consist of fried Rocky Mountain Oysters and Rocky Mountain Kool-Aid! Yum-Yum!
Thanks, Kevin.

Thanks, Kevin.

Re: Impromptu Games
YEAH Baylor!!!
I was doing some reading and wanted to read about Napoleonic battles fought at night and I found this. I have created a PvP scenario and tried to recreate the conditions of the battle. Semi Historical but then again?
When we have enough (at least 6) we can play it, maybe tomorrow or Saturday. Any one want to take a CinC position?

Re: Impromptu Games
I cancelled an evening appointment (my daughter is going to buy me a Thai meal next week instead) and so I can play tonight.
EDIT: Jack. Whoa. I think we should give you command of a cavalry division in your first game because I know how much you love them.

And he only had to be killed 5 times in order for us to achieve that victory.
