KS Napoleon Battle Sunday, Jan 24th, 20:00GMT, 15:00EST
The region around Silberberg is the last defensible ground before the open spaces around Vienna are reached. The Austrians must hold the city at all costs. The French must capture it to open the way to the capital.
The scenario PvP and will require a minimum of 6 players. Of course, more can be accommodated with brigade commands.

I should be around for this one, chaps. Looking forward to joining you all.
BTW, big thanks to Kevin for all the recent mod work and to Mark for his amazing map. Really enjoying some SP play recently.

It will be good to see the spirit of General Cuesta dominating the battlefields again!

Thanks for introducing me to the mechanics of the game, Chaps. As a battery commander I had a blast and learned a lot about the feel of KS: good fun and I shall be honoured to meet you on the field of glory again!

Your first game turned out to be one of the toughest and most desperate fights our group has played in a long time. The fighting was very fluid and relentless, so if you felt things were a bit chaotic, don't worry. We all did!
Your battery did well and you ran up a nice little score so you can feel proud of your first game.
You should download Kevin's replay viewer and watch the game again.

Thanks again for a great game.
Apologies again to Joe who missed the action due to me not double clicking the Courier recipient when sending out my orders. Hope you get a better game next time.

It was a hard battle - nice to see "Austerlitz like" French splitting attack in the centre... not very enjoyable to be at the receiving end

It was a very hard battle. Well played by everyone. Those Austrians just didn't want to give up that hill. The Meckel map is a defensive player's dream come true.

...which is why I was so happy to find a nice hill above a stream and let the Austrians come to me.

Both of you are good when it comes to figure out your orders. Just the battle turned out that way, nice job French commanders!
I believe it was the most intense battle with the Waterloo game. It took us almost 2 hours to take that hill, the Austrian team did an excellent job, it was a very tied affair.
I was watching our right flank in peril, and when we got rid of the Austrian battery there and the 3 or 4 battalions supporting it, I realized that we had a good chance to take the hill. But until then everything was in the air.
I think another important factor was that the Austrian team didn't know about the strongpoints on this map.
