Excellent work on the edit, Mark. I think you reflected the thoughts expressed very well. Not all attendees agree on everything (which is fine) and you have brought that out.

Absolutely agree. Giving the charts to the players would give them too much information in my view. Whilst our historical equivalents would have had more of a feel for combat that we did, based on previous engagements, that's a long way from knowing the precise breakdown of results at any particular odds.
For any senior commander, previous combats would have occured in a variety of circumstances, at a range of odds, and over a variety of terrain. And for all sorts of reasons, combat in 1968 would not necessarily have mirrored that in 1967 or 1966.

It has taken some effort to type up the feedback and I did this to open up the debate.

As for an AAR of the game if I want to run it again that would not help and again it takes time and effort. I think for the voyeurs in the WWW it is a big ask to get these AAR's and while nice they might not always be possible.

Well it is much appreciated. I just think that it is helpful to put news for the community of an outline of what has been happening rather than have it all appear vague to the wider group; keeps the enthusiasm up.
