Several GCM guys are having trouble registering for the forums here.

How can we best handle this?

Problems Registering Empty Re: Problems Registering

This is my understanding of the issue.  When folks sign-up for the forum, they are sometimes automatically transferred into a user group titled 'Inactive Users'.  We do not currently know why.  No alert is provided to the forum moderators when this happens, so we are currently reliant on hearing there is a problem.

This is clearly not ideal, and we need a permanent solution.  But the good news is that, once we do know, it is very straightforward to activate them - by which I mean that even I can do it!

I have just checked 'Inactive Users' and there is currently no one listed as being in limbo.  We have activated several new members over the last 2-3 weeks, so it may be that everyone is now ok.  But can you check back with the GCM guys please Mark.  If anyone still has a problem, can you ask them to email me direct.

Yes there is. I'll email you some screenshots of the settings we use for HITS play. These are modified in the 'Options' screens. You can use these in SP as well as MP, and it will help you get used to using couriers to command your units and also to the restricted view from the saddle.
