Re: American Breakfast
It seems me a good idea; what if the Redcoats would decide to invade at the breakfast time?

Re: American Breakfast
Both photos are accurate. The top one reflects a mid-westerner's preference, while the second is a picture of the Redneck Special. All that's missing are the grits.

Re: American Breakfast
This is how most Americans sleep, particularly in some areas of Los Angeles and other parts of the big cities, as well as in the rural South.
And let's not mention Detroit.

Kevin,
A hard choice had to be made in the second image. The grits could be displayed, but by moving them out of frame, it made room for two more clips of ammo.

This is what Americans think trouble is in England.

Re: American Breakfast
Indeed. This could cause major unrest, especially in Yorkshire where we take our brew very seriously.
Now, wasting good tea (such as throwing it into a harbour, for instance) could easily spark off a major conflict

Good Tea?
Good tea = Oxymoron.
The word "good", when referencing drinks, should only be paired with bourbon, scotch or some other medicinal beverage. For example, "Good rum!"... or ... "Good Rye". But, really, not with TEA! That would be an assault upon the Queen's English! LOL

Re: American Breakfast
I disagree, the adjective "good" most definitely goes with "tea".
I think that person was refusing a cup of tea because he had no arms and was clearly feeling it would be an inconvenience to his kind host to expect him to hold the cup for him, so really it wasn't anarchy but simply good manners. As you can see he has been polite and worn a bow tie for the occasion.

Re: American Breakfast
FYI, good, instant tea doesn't require a pot.

I didn't want to have to do this but you gave me no choice.....
or perhaps we could discuss this over a drink?

Does Betty's serve iced tea? Looks kinda snooty.

Yes, they serve cold refreshments, but only to one's horses or servants.

Re: American Breakfast
I'm not sure, but I don't think we Americans really understand how tea works.
Our science has discovered instant tea, but that other kind, well, it's best used for our favorite pastime, which is expressing badly misdirected anger with a thinly veiled threat of rebellion or other imminent violence.

Re: American Breakfast
For those who partake in the "Redneck Special" breakfast every morning, the proper use of tea bags is a daunting challenge. But so is talking in comprehensible and complete sentences.
