Memory Maps 1800's maps
Memory maps have just released circa 1800 maps on CD
quote from http://www.memory-map.co.uk/historical/historical_mapping.html
Using data from a survey of England & Wales between 1805 and 1874, these black & white maps were engraved by hand and show a largely rural landscape still reliant on horse and cart and drovers trails rather than roads.
Cd is £20
using the software provided on the cd the user can print out maps to scale. Might be a very useful tool for Gamers
