Given that Atalayuclas crashed on us with a 'bad frame in packet' error, and we had another crash of the same kind a few weeks ago in another big game (I think it was Kevin's one where the French had to slip past the Austrians), I am thinking of us trying to ALL play in full screen on maps that carry a heavy load. We in the HITS group when were were testing the courier system over a year ago kept having this error and we send a few reports to Norb and he advised it was caused by a mix of different window 'frame' sizes in use by different users. Couriers we know adds an extra level of traffic to the game and with a planned game coming up on the Antietam map which is also a map that adds a lot of load I would like to suggest we all use full screen for that game.

I know its not to everyone's taste but a game ruined by a crash isn't to anyone's taste so lets please try it.

We can go back to whisper keys if people want but also I find that firing off couriers to a player you are right next to allows a very fast conversation too.

Thoughts?

Personally, I'm happy to just use couriers. The one time whisper keys wins is if there are 3 or more of you, but that hardly ever seems to happen.
