Not Kriegspiel-specific or even SoW but while looking around for maps and city images and other Peninsular War related material I came across a blog that features the work of a particularly talented Spanish artist, Augusto Ferrer-Dalmau. Military paintings from all periods from the 1500s to the 1940s and featuring what I presume are Spanish troops in war. Several paintings have Peninsular themes.

Very nice art work, Digby. I particularly liked one near the end which seemed to me to be of the Spanish Division fighting on the East Front in WW2 - the sense of desperation and abandonment comes out strongly in that one. The Napoleonic Era ones were excellent also.

I spent the whole battle trying to avoid your Cavalry. Had I known you were in the same condition I might have ridden up to your units and thrown tapas at them.
