The Good: Carefully built, lots of room for players, large map, very challenging.
The Bad: Not enough human players to put eyes where they were needed, technical issues and personal commitments cost both sides dearly, preventing fair completion. Both sides suffered from AI takeovers of key units at critical moments.

Unfortunately, knowing the secret of the scenario prevents me from replaying it as is. It would be worth a second go with more humans.

I wasn't happy late-game, but I was thrilled with the challenge. I spent a lot of time working on plans, I was sorry to see them miss so badly -- but how could I have known? :-/

Still, we made a go of it anyway and the scenario did actually finish, which was a positive development.

Three cheers for Martin! Very Happy

Thought-provoking scenario, Martin. As a central force, the choices presented while dealing with a superior-but-bifurcated opponent are classic and interesting. The setup itself was elegantly done and visually appealing with the great uni's and all those western flags we don't often see while playing the eastern theater battles.

Too bad about the crashes, but stuff happens... With a bit of freshening, I'm certainly up for an encore performance.

It was (and this is getting too much of a habit for me Embarassed ) as much fun as you can have while getting royally whupped. Cavalry are tricky, and I was thoroughly fed up with them by the end of the battle, but I'll try again...

It was interesting to hear from Kevin after the battle and find that, from his POV, it was quite close on Blunt's left for a while and that my attempts to take one of his batteries almost came off. During the battle it had felt like a rash mistake and that rush to get engaged that comes after lots of marching around in search of an enemy.

Steve's men flooding into view, and then into battle, soon after he had to leave, was a magnificent sight. Pity that Niall's men turned up moments later ...

Thanks Martin for the scenario, which I'd be happy to play again, and to all fellow players. Apologies to my team-mates for my division's performance...
