That final attack which was properly co-ordinated and had three brigades in line each moving slowly forwards and supporting the other correctly was a joy to be a part of. Even though Stefan and I had been fighting near the central stone walls for an hour and all of my units were very 'twitchy' the combination of well supported units and a constant rolling fire was enough to finally crumple the enemy, even though we were pushing up a steep hill for much of the way.

Hays & Digby were able to join the game room for this one, I'm pleased to say. I was not following the technical work with test rooms which preceded the game. Did we ever get to the bottom of their problems on Thursday? Is this issue now permanently sorted?

I've posted an AAR (of sorts) on the NSD forum, using screenshots of the minimap from the replay of the battle. The replay feature could have been designed for HITS battles, allowing us to see what we couldn't see in the heat of the battle.

Well done Jeff. A great advertisement for our style of game (and MP group). Hopefully it will drum-up some more recruits.

Just had a look at our forum member list. We've actually had 50 joined since the beginning of June, which is pretty heartening. And a lot more than I was expecting. Not sure how much of that is due to G/burg, but I do recognise lots of the new names from our online games.
