Koniggratz map available online
The National Library of Australia seems to have 2 copies of a 1:25,000 version of the Koniggratz map, both digitized. One is a 2004 reprint, with unitʻs positions penciled in on it. The other is a copy made in Britain in 1870. (The reprint was made from a similar copy.) The reprint is identical (except for units) to the other one, and bears the title "Plan des Schlachtfeldes von Kőniggra̋tz / Aufgenommen und gezeichnet" in the catalog, similar to the catalog title of the (undigitized) 1:25,000 copy in the british library that is linked to from the wordpress Kriegsspiel website. (The title of the 1870 copy in the catalog is just Plan des Schlachtfeldes von Königgrätz.) Iʻve compared both of them to the thumbnail available on TFLʻs website, and they seem like the same thing. If anyone has access to the map, please check these against it.

Iʻve added in the links if anyone wants to check them against the TFL map. If you do so, please tell me the results, whether theyʻre the same or different.

Annaeruo,
I just finished splicing the Koniggratz map together yesterday for use in my 1862 Kriegsspiel mod. It looks roughly the same from what I can tell, hills/roads/towns and all.

Re: Koniggratz map available online
Thanks. I’m going to try to rescale it for ease of use/comparison.

It's a great map, and much larger than Meckel. The colouring was done by Bill Leeson, who founded our group. Bill was a talented artist, and the scheme he used really brings-out the typography.
The Little Gaddesden group has played many games on this one over the years.
Well done Alex.
