Any Kriegsspiel on Long Island, NY?
I have 1824/1862 rules, konigsgratz map, and a set of blocks. Anybody out there looking to play?

I know, I just wanted to through it out there. I would hate to find out that there are some locals who have been able to stay hidden from me all this time. There are some folks at my local gaming group who have expressed an interest, but we have not yet made the leap.

Pete,
I'm going to pass this message to my good friends of the New York Wargamers Association (NYWA). They are a Manhattan based group of mainly miniatures gamers that gets together weekly (Thursday nights). About a year ago (before I moved out to Kansas), I had run a Kreigsspiel game that was very enthusiastically recieved.
If you're willing to schlepp into Manahattan on any given Thursday night, you have a ready built group of gamers. Just don't be surprised if they'll want to replace the maps with terrain boards and the blocks with 25mm painted minis :-)
