Prussian and Austrian rifles? Empty Prussian and Austrian rifles?

Do they have any? I played with the Waterloo Prussian oob and I see many jager skirmishers but with smoothbores. I saw one Silesian Schutzen unit but again with smoothbores.

I'm less knowledgeable about Prussian weapons. I think units like the 95th were unique in their skills at range and for sniping officers (something the game cannot represent anyway). Kevin is our main OOB writer so I hope he has some input here. We have issued the Baker Rifle to the Portuguese cacadore battalions but they only have a 150 yd range because their use of it was different to more well-known British regiments. Perhaps the Prussian range might be increased by 10 or 20 yds but this hardly makes a difference when you are dealing with the scale of the game's combats which is at least at the division level and often at the corps level.

As a general caution however I would not become too fixated on weapon ranges and other technical aspects of weapon performance such as misfire percentages and loading times. There are far more important considerations in the game that will cause troops to win or lose any engagement. The quality of the man holding the weapon is a lot more important than the weapon itself.

I hear ya...I just sometimes play at the division level and TC of the skirmishers while ai does the rest. Kind of like a support role missin within the sandbox scenerio
