Very nice. I guess you made this with the version of the mod just prior to the one where Kevin took the artillery flags off

Thanks Martin
Yeh, shame about that. It will be rectified in the next vid.
Hopefully, get some more cav action in the next one.

Very nicely done, Mike. It gives a very good idea of what HITS play is all about. I look forward to the next one.

Re: SOWWL SP Sandbox video_Youtube
Thanks Kevin
It was a really nice battle for a sandbox. One of several attempts because, as you know, the AI has a habbit of sending artillery or cav divisions to the objective first. What I really wanted was lots of inf columns and they certainly did not disappoint on this one.
I tried Stefan's SG but I only know the basics and found that the AI was sending all the divisions directly to the objective. I wanted them a bit more spread out.
Any suggestions for the next movie? I will include the KS set up and splash screens at the start. A good MP might be good, although perhaps, increased lag might show up and it is harder to fight with a camera on your shoulder

Re: SOWWL SP Sandbox video_Youtube
I would use non-stock sprites. Long lines of Russian guns always makes good copy
Try a hillier terrain such as Die Heugel and get yourself a nice panoramic viewpoint.
If you can get a big French brigade moving in attack columns in double line (the special combat formation button) that would look good.
Cavalry massacring skirmishers or chasing down a broken square also looks epic.
Clouds of skirmishers.
Just some ideas.

Re: SOWWL SP Sandbox video_Youtube
I agree with Martin, the 1812 OOB is probably the most visually inspiring. In addition to a view of the Russian guns in action, a line of Russian cuirassiers also produces a high pucker factor.
The two things that I noticed most in your 1st video were the columns of divisions and the skirmish battalions in action. Both of those give a real napoleonic feel to the battle. It looked so much better than the Matrix stock game productions.
