Re: New player
Welcome to the forum. We usually play SowWL with the Napoleon mod Fri, Sat and Sun. The start time is 20:00BST, (15:00EST, 14:00CST, 13:00MST, 12:00PST). On Monday's we often play using SowGB and a mod of another time period such as Reisswitz, Plains Indian, War of Austrian Succession, etc. We play at saddle level using couriers to communicate with other players and our own troops. You are most welcome to join us. If you are new to the game or to that style of play, don't worry. You can start off commanding a brigade if you like, in another player's division. If you are more experienced you can take a division or the CinC role. Since we follow the chain of command, the CinC role can be quite active. Other players in a typical game can range from new to this style to experienced. All are welcome.
The easiest way to know when a game is scheduled, is to check the forum. There is usually a posting a day or so in advance giving some information about the scenario.
Again, welcome.
