BERTHIER CAMPAIGN MANAGER - fog of war application
The freely downloadable BERTHIER CAMPAIGN MANAGER is a hidden movement & spotting arbitration program. Though I have not yet used it personally, it looks, from the numerous examples of use given on this site, to be a very flexible tool to impose fog of war in situations, whether FTF or PBEM, where an umpire is unavailable. Example applications range from the obvious naval game through to gunslingers stalking each other around a Wild West ghost town..... From the blurb on the site, it seems possible to apply the programs grid to any map uploaded in .bmp format.

This sounds interesting. I have been hoping that someone who's useed BERTHIER will comment on it. Anyone out there?
