The Lost Division -- Initial Sides to date (6/13)
The following list is tentative and subject to change. So far I have only two distinct CiC volunteers. Please let me know if I have made a mistake or missed something.
We have 14 players, plus myself with the great majority being floaters without a side preference. It looks like we should have enough players for the battles. A few of you have asked for specific units. I look forward to obliging you.
The forums should be set up soon, and we will have the scenario and oob things sorted out within days, or so I expect. I will keep everyone posted.
KEVIN/MTG: Please post below this the mods, their links and any other settings you think players need.
I'll take signups officially through Monday PM Pacific Time (GMT-8 ). I'll prepare the initial side briefings and order sets. From there, we will start!
If anyone wishes to join late, I'm okay with that, although they will not likely be able to command a personal unit. But I am happy to accommodate mid-campaign entries.
CiC Candidates
Kevin – Gen. M.T. Georgia (UNION)
Sven – (Gen. Byrd) (CONFEDERATE)
Floaters
Grog
Steve
Digby (Martin)
Stefan (Leffe7)
Andrew (Chromey)
Mitra (Luigi Palma di Cesnola)
Calpurnius
Hays (A man with commitment issues. Lighthearted romantic comedy to follow.)
Martin
Neal (Campaign moderator, unlikely to play)
Union
Martin Eden – Eden’s Brigade
Morsey – Chamberlin’s Brigade
Michka
Confederate
John Weathers – Weather’s Brigade
KCarter – (Johnathan R. Pendleton)
Baylor

Since the lost division is not carrying any silverware you're going to be hard pressed to convince General Georgia to fight.
I hear that northern civilians are great hoarders of the precious goods though...

Gen. Georgia is disappointed in hearing of the lack of industry in the confederate ranks. He is certain that even the densest barefoot ridge runner should be able to stumble across the odd unattended tea service. Please repair this deficit with all haste. The general and his men will be attending to you shortly and they will require compensation.

Gen. Georgia
I shall order my command to immediatelyrob relieve the Union population of Maryland of the unchristian burden of voluptuous wealth.
I shall furthermore inform the good folk of Maryland of your kind suggestion to "properly equip" my forces at their expense.
Respectfully
Gen. Byrd

MICHKA...
Do you know what the Father General does to soldiers who attempt to dessert?
I have no idea myself, but I'm sure it's pretty awful.
Fortunately for you, you're a Union man, and MTG might be a lot kinder.
I'll change your signup. I hope, for your sake, you can make it.

If there's still time to sign-up, put me in as a floater for the Union. The legend and legacy of the Glorieta Hairlifters lives!

I myself am very much in favor of dessert.

LOL!
Desert, desertion.
Yes, Dessert is delicious. I can't believe I misspelled that.
Desert = where I live.
Dessert = What I enjoy after dinner.
Desertion = people who leave Father General's sermon early.

The Hairlifters always leave a mess on the field. A very disturbing sight, even though the mess is wearing grey uniforms. Oh well, boys will be boys...

The 'Glorieta Hairfloaters' more like. Grey and Blue ought to shiver alike.
Freudian slip I guess. Your subconscious would probably like some Cheescake tonight.

Re: The Lost Division -- Initial Sides to date (6/13)
Rumor has it that a sudden trend to close-cut and shaved heads and beards is sweeping the Rebel ranks. Wise precaution. The sight of flowing locks tends to cause extreme excitement and agitation among our warriors soldiers. Fortunately, officers have had tolerable success in restricting hairlifting to the enemy. *Studies portrait of the Father General*

The vulnerable err. . . venerable avsjones (Avery) is struggling to get logged on here, so I throw his hat into the confederate ring for him.
Not a floater. You can count on Avery.

Longstreet and J. T. Knight seem interested also.
I think Knight has trouble being unlocked for the forums also, he wants to play for the Confederacy as I understand it but he's probably gonna be on this forum to tell hisself. =)
