Scenario Update 10/15 - It's almost ready!
I have finished the OOB and it works beautifully. There are about 6-7 commands per side, so we should shoot for 5 players per side to really make this work, although we can make do with as little as 4 per. Less than that and it gets...complicated.
All that's left now is to build the scenario by positioning the troops on the map and writing up the backstory and material each commander needs. For me, those are the easy parts. I will not be commanding anything more than a brigade, so someone else will have the fun of playing the FG.
The sides are naturally imbalanced, since the Father General has the high ground, fighting from a superior position of righteousness, which will be useful since he will be attacking uphill.
The real challenge will be for General Georgia, who must deal with some early problems. If he can effectively manage a couple initial crises, he stands a good chance of winning the scenario.
The battle will be fought on the Crampton's Gap map, so all players will need that.
Below, throw out some Saturday dates and times that work for you. I won't be ready this coming Saturday, and even if I were, I'm not available. However, after that things improve a bit and get better after the first weekend in November.
I'll post a doodle later in the week to actually schedule the event.
I'm looking forward to a great game and an interesting scenario. More details to come in the next few days!

Will one of Gen. Georgia's problems be not enough room in his baggage train for all the ill gotten booty? Sacrifices will be made, tents discarded, hardtack thrown out, etc.

If Baby Father General allows, I may get this built tonight. 50/50 odds. I'll see if I can throw in some extra wagons. It isn't going to be easy for you General Georgia, but whoever plays the FG won't have a walk in the park, either. :-)
