February 17th game

hi all and happy New year!

the 17 th is rapidly approaching. do we have any takers for organising the game?

The game will be a Vietnam game. Based upon the Tet offensive and 4 players with an umpire per player.

I will probably be attending but I can only comfirm (or not) nearer the date.

I will also consider being an umpire but I prefer being a player, particularly given the distance involved.

NP just let us know nearer the time (three weeks to go...)

The way this game stands at the moment based upon two definite players and a maybe this game will not be run.

If there are any lurkers out there please sign up on Doodle to let us know if you can make it.

A final decision will be made on Sunday 10th Feb based upon interest posted / doodle responses by that stage.

Hopefully we can raise some more interest and nudge people to let us know they will be there..



I will need a minimum of 2 players and 2 umpires, but ideally we need four players and four umpires.

This game has now been cancelled due to lack of players and umpires. Sorry for those few that did sign up on doodle and via e-mail.

The game will be run later in the year when people have warmed up...
