Graphical Summary of the Campaign
This campaign looks to have been good fun. Is there a graphical summary of the movements and location of the battles? I realize it was secret before but if you are winding down it would seem that it won't have to be top secret for 20 years.

Maybe a short introduction and a few words as to why you want to know and people might even be bothered to answer. The internet and good manners are not mutually exclusive you know.

Perhaps you should heed your own words, Mr. Meanie.

Why, yes sir. Pardon my affront.
I am Sheik Abdul Al-Aqsa Ramadan of the Winchester Ramadans, CIC of AQ West Virginia. We hope to use the maps to defeat the kuffir cavalry and form an islamic state in the Shenadoah Valley. Also, does anyone know of a trusted goat reseller west of the Blue Ridge?
MajByrd...please see the link posted by the diminutive mac. I was pointed here by Mr Saddletank after I made inquiries at SOW board.

I believe Gen. Georgia has a place for you on his staff. What's your views on silverware?

Ah, yes. We do use our scimitars on big pieces of goat but we like to use our hands to keep camp kitchen duties down. Right hand only , of course.

My apologies, sir. What I meant was, what are your views on acquiring the silverware and other trinkets from the rebellious population of the valley?Ah, yes. We do use our scimitars on big pieces of goat but we like to use our hands to keep camp kitchen duties down. Right hand only , of course.

Ah yes, a cultural misunderstanding. As long as they pay their jyzia there will be no confiscation of eating utensils although I have ordered the protective custody of all Teddy bears after that nasty business in the Sudan.
I am also curious about your leader, General Georgia. How many wives and camels does he have?

Re: Graphical Summary of the Campaign
Well, I suppose Gen. Georgia imposes a hefty jyzia, since the inhabitants of the regions his army passes through are now eating with chopsticks. He is indifferent to teddy bears. His wives number only one. Who would willingly invite more pain into his life? But his concubines are numerous. I believe the camel is called the ship of the desert. In the valley, wagons would fulfill that role. Gen. Georgia's personal baggage train is very substantial indeed.Ah yes, a cultural misunderstanding. It's quite obvious from your posts, dear General, that you carry a heavy load of "personal baggage."

I had the feeling that I would have to eat those words later today. Well, excuse me.

Smite him with the Good Book, FG, smite him mightily!
And after you're done with the smiting, do be a splendid fellow and summarise our late and glorious victory in the Valley for the good Capt. Mohammedrake, paying especial attention to the tactical genius and cunning ruses de guerre of the inestimable Brigadier General Fortescue Digby-Chinless, whose manoeuvrings were key to victory no less!
(He also had to put up with that whinging old woman, Flashman, too, a reason to heap honours upon any man!)

Re: Graphical Summary of the Campaign
Poor old Digby-Chinless, losing his mind slowly in his dotage, forgetting the awful blunders he made in the valley. The only time there was any victory for the Confederates was when individuals (ahem) had to ignore Forty's orders to "avoid combat at all costs", and valiantly, bravely, and ingeniously attack cunning and guile Northern adversaries.
(Flashy raised an eyebrow when he read Mandrake's enquiry of Georgia's wives - he wondered if the truth about one of Georgia's "regular" hareem - a Ms Chinless no less - would slip out somewhere along the way. Not that old D-C was burnt to the socket, but the old girl just enjoyed her bedroom-canter with different jockeys.)

Re: Graphical Summary of the Campaign
Ah, yes, Flashy believing every tattle-tale he hears at Mr Sewards dinner soirees again... You know what they say about a fellow who goes around beleiving everything eh?
*Digby chuckles quietly to himself since its news to him that he has a daughter. That one must have slipped out, so to speak on one of his more boisterous evenings in his youth.* Of course if it was one of his sons Gen Georgia had been dallying with then that would be quite alright, a lad needs to experience these things to get on in the world - isn't that right Flash old chap?

What you Confederate chaps lack is a tasty, big piece of German Bratwurst. I'll make sure to bring a 1,000 to New Market; each of my Hessians carries one
