Suggested initial AGM agenda
And again..
Agenda
AGM date :
Present
Apologies
Previous minutes
Agree provisional chair
Agree constitution ( following discussion on proposed amendments)
Elect members
Are there any regular activities conducted at meetings which should be formally agreed and co opted on to the committee? (E.g. Tea and coffee supply, webmaster?)
Agree annual membership fee
Should the kriegsspiel.org website become a club asset?
Should the committee agree a role to administer the website (webmaster role)
What's the role of the website? How will it be funded? Forum policy and admin?
Should we agree a game schedule for 2013?
How many games? When? Should we agree a games organiser for each date who will take the lead in publicising, setting the scenario etc?

While not participating in the Kriegsspiel face to face games. I’m very grateful for the home that this group have provided for the SOW HITs group.
When you are considering the funding to maintain the web site can I suggest that you enable a function on the web site to allow other members to submit donations? E.g. through a Pay Pal Account for example.

Re: Suggested initial AGM agenda
Hi Gents,
Thanks for your support for the forum (and offer of financial support) I am sure we can come up with some way to allow those who want to help keep things running do so.
While the SOW group are very welcome as the play style is in the spirit of Kreig we as a UK Krieg group have never really set down who does what and got things on a more formal basis (especially as money is involved and new members become involved).
The AGM is our first attempt at getting a slightly more formal structure to ensure that things are kept going and assets like the forum and web site are understood in the context of the UK Kreig group.
If any SOW members that are UK based want to attend the AGM it will not be far from Hemel and at a pub. We can post the location and time and we will be running a game during the day that anyone is very welcome to join in with. No previous experience needed.
Otherwise you are very welcome to express views (which may or may not be taken into account ) by those that do attend. I will very be happy to take private e-mails from anyone and bring their views forward at the AGM.
