Re: UK Summer Game - Poll Closed Sunday 29th July Date Booked - WW2 Normandy 1944
Thanks to Mark for an interesting and unusual game yesterday.
It was set in the early hours of D-Day 1944 and invoved a varied cast of German garrison troops, Gestapo, and British paras. There were also French resistance groups under sultry femme fatale Michelle Dubois, who were involved with the Gestapo and others in a game within a game. Later the cast was joined by Allied troops advancing inland from the beaches, together with German panzergrenadier reinforcements.
Next game will hopefully be in September, and we need to agree a date for that.
