Jena 1806 historical map
I would be grateful to anybody who could help me with the map to be used for Jena battlefield. I made a research but had no results for the first decade of the century, though various Germany XIX century maps are available online.
Thank you
Thank you

A map-making tool would be nice to have. Would simplify a lot of things. I know they used to have one for SOW:Gettysburg but I never saw on for Waterloo.

I know nothing about the Jena battlefield, but it's quite likely that it changed very little in the first decades of the 19th C. So a map from 1830-1860 might give a good representation. You are also much more likely to find a contour map from that period, as they were vanishingly rare in Napoleonic times.

Mapmakers of the late 18th century were rare;
You could try the mapmaker Count Ferraris and see if he did a German area map; he did a very detailed 1775 map series for the Austrian-Netherlands (Belgium ).
The surge of contour focused mapping came after the Napoleonic wars.
This one looks like late 19th century.
